Congratulations on becoming a Wellness Advocate with doTERRA!

We're excited to walk you through the OnBoarding Process and help you LAUNCH your doTERRA Business!

Set Up Your Account

1. Direct Deposit

Make sure you have a checking account exclusively for your dōTERRA business. For tax purposes, you'll need to keep your business and personal income & expenses separate.

Next, be sure you've requested to have Direct Deposit. If you do not have Direct Deposit set up, dōTERRA will send you a physical check for commissions. (Some commissions come weekly and some come monthly.) When a check is issued, $1.95 is deducted for the expense of writing the check and mailing it to you. So let's avoid that fee and get your money quicker by setting up Direct Deposit.

The video walks you through this, but it can be done in your back office by clicking Account and then Direct Deposit.

2. Loyalty Rewards Order (LRP)

The Loyalty Rewards Program is an optional program for all Customers. However, for Wellness Advocates, it's a requirement to have access to all parts of the compensation plan.

You will need to process at least 100pv each month to receive all your commissions. We recommend you process 150pv each month, as that will help to ensure that you and your 3 front line partners will equal 600ov and qualify for the Power of 3 Bonus. Watch Compensation Plan videos to learn more about this.

How to set up your LRP:

1 • Log into your account on doterra.com , then on the right side of the screen, select the purple "Create New Loyalty Order" button

2 • Pick an available date on which you would like your LRP to automatically process. Select "Save Date and Shop."

3 • Browse the shopping menu to find products you wish to add to your order. Select the "Add" button to add it to your cart

4 • Once you have found all your items, click on the "Bag" in the top Right icon and press "Review Order."

5 • From inside your cart, you can:

- Edit your cart contents.

- Edit Shipping, Payment, and Notifications for your order.

- Check the Personal Consumption box if you do not plan to resell these products. [Checking or un-checking this box will affect the taxes on your order.]

6 • If all of the details for your order look correct, you can select "Save and Process on (date)" to have the order process on the date you selected or "Proceed to Checkout" to process the order immediately.

FINDING BUILDERS & BUSINESS PARTNERS

To grow your business you need to not only find customers but also Builders & Partners.

Builders are anyone who wants a Wellness Advocate account and earn a commission. They may want to earn enough to get their oils paid for, may only want to work a few hours a week or month. This may be someone who loves to help others and wants to share doTERRA with them. There's a large range of goals that Builders may have.

Partners are someone who wants to link arms with you, move as fast as you, and grow a doTERRA business. They are someone who can find their own 3 Business Partners. The quicker you can find Partners (and even builders) the faster you'll grow.

Tips for finding Builders/Partners:

Tip #1 - Look for someone who has influence AND need/desire. (Are they capable?)

Tip #2 - Look for someone who will do the business at your level or above.

Tip #3 - Ask them how many hours they'd like to work and where they see themselves going in the comp plan? (Are they committed?)

Tip #4 - Always offer the opportunity

Challenge: Find your first 1-3 Partners. Make a list of who you would want to work with and invite to learn more. Work with your leader on this.

BUILDING YOUR PIPELINE

P-I-P-E-S is our Business System. Following this process will bring SUCCESS. How you do each step may vary based on your goals, your vision, your strengths, etc., but the process is still the same.

How to Use PIPES:

  • Prepare - categorize your names list looking for business prospects, plan Learn More Events & Reclaim Your Health Workshops

  • Invite - share a sizzle video or a sample or a build guide and invite to a Learn More Event, 3-way call, or Workshop

  • Present - during your Launch, your Mentor will Present events & workshops for you. (You will learn how to do these yourself in time.)

  • Enroll - help your new Customers or Wellness Advocates choose the right kit and enter their enrollment

  • Support - have a Wellness Consult with new customers, follow up & invite to our Education. Help your new Wellness Advocates onboard & begin their own launch.

NETWORKING

dōTERRA is part of the Network Marketing industry, where we market products to our Network. Sometimes you'll hear it be called direct sales, social selling, mlm, etc. But Network Marketing is the best descriptor.

Part of your business activities will be to expand your network. But as you first are launching your business, start with your current network.

Make a list of people you know. Use the form provided and start looking at contacts in your phone, who are your friends on Facebook & Instagram, etc.

This will be a working list. You'll be editing it, adding to it and keeping track of who you're talking to and inviting to learn more about doTERRA products and business opportunity.

Challenge: Create a list of 100 names before you begin planning your Launch.
